About Size Comparison Game
Size Comparison Game is a free daily puzzle about one deceptively simple question: how big is it, really? Each round puts a familiar object next to something you think you know, and asks you to resize it to its true scale.
Why we made it
We see whales, planets and dinosaurs every day on screens – but almost never next to each other, and never next to a school bus or a door. Most of us carry around facts about how big things are without a real feel for them. A short daily guessing round turned out to be a fun way to build that feel, and to be surprised by it.
How it works
- Daily puzzle: five rounds, the same for everyone, refreshed at midnight in your time zone. Share your colored-square result and keep a streak going.
- Unlimited: random rounds for as long as you like, filtered by animals, space or everyday things.
Everything runs in your browser. There are no accounts, and your progress stays on your device.
How the content is made
Every size is a typical value taken from sources such as NASA, NOAA, zoos, museums and official sports rules, and every reveal links to its source. Animal silhouettes come from the open PhyloPic database; everyday objects are drawn in-house. The full list of sources and credits is on the sources and methodology page.
Independent
Size Comparison Game is an independent project. It is not affiliated with Magnitudle, Size It Up or any other daily game.
